Did anyone see Justice Isagani Cruz's article last 12 August on gay people? I think it is extremely offensive and downright ugly. Not to mention, dangerous (seriously). A lot of loaded name-calling, insincere apologies, and contradictory statements. I truly loathe bigots to the highest degree.
I was going to write something more lengthy but why bother? I certainly am not going to change his opinion and a lot of people have already expressed outrage with said article. I'm just sad because this is going to fan the flames of those who think the same and they're going to think that they're justified with their own bigotry. Now, Isagani Cruz is in that group of people I call "Wendy Peppers" (Project Runway reference). Wendy Peppers are inconsiderate, paranoid, condescending, and ill-minded individuals who are just not open to other people's sensibilities and have skewed logic about the "way things work in the world." So why do I have to bother with this Wendy Pepper?
It's not as if I don't have enough Wendy Peppers in my life.
